How KeebVault collects, uses, and protects information.

Information we collect

KeebVault may collect information you provide directly, such as your email address, profile details, collection data, uploaded photos, and any information you choose to include in public or private item records.

We may also collect technical information automatically when you use the service, including device and browser information, log data, approximate location derived from IP address, and usage information about how you interact with the app.

How we use information

We use information to operate, maintain, and improve KeebVault, authenticate users, provide account and collection features, process uploads, enable public profile sharing, respond to support requests, and communicate service-related updates.

We may also use information to monitor performance, detect abuse, investigate security incidents, and understand product usage so we can improve the experience over time.

Google Sign-In data

When you choose Continue with Google, Google provides KeebVault with basic identity information covered by the openid, email, and profile permissions: your Google account identifier, name, email address, and profile photo. We use this information only to create or link your KeebVault account, authenticate you, secure your account, and display your basic profile information.

KeebVault does not request or access Gmail, Google Drive, Google Contacts, Google Calendar, or other Google services. We do not sell Google user data or use it for advertising. Supabase processes and stores this authentication information on KeebVault's behalf as our authentication service provider.

Google user data is retained while your KeebVault account is active and otherwise only as long as needed for security, legal, or operational requirements. You may request deletion of your KeebVault account and its associated Google identity data through our contact page. Deleting this data from KeebVault does not delete your Google account.

KeebVault's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Sharing and disclosures

We may share information with service providers that help us host, store, secure, and operate KeebVault. We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of KeebVault, our users, or others.

Content you mark as public, including public profile details or public collection items, may be visible to other users and visitors. You are responsible for deciding what information you make public.

Data retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your choices

Depending on how KeebVault is configured, you may be able to access, update, or delete portions of your account information from within the app. You may also contact us to request help with account-related privacy questions.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may provide notice by updating the effective date, posting the revised policy in the app, or using other appropriate communication methods.
